I'm writing in my LiveJournal! Isn't that weird? I'm just writing to let my friends know I'm climbing Mt. Shasta and should be back Wednesday or Thursday. "Climbing" sounds a bit extreme, it's more like backpacking up the mountain. No rock climbing involved. Ok bye. |

i'm a workin' man
first day at work... man i've missed working in an office. i loved it! the creative director even bought me lunch! i just missed pay day, which kinda sucks. i have to wait 2 weeks until i get some more money... |

back to work...
oh yeah i have a livejournal i just got hired for a full-time position at ad2, Inc. www.ad2.com. It's a production artist type of position, but they like my design work so I'll be doing some design too. It pays a lot more than a typical production artist position, so I'm hoping I won't have to freelance anymore. I've lived at the beach for about 3 months and I haven't been to the beach ONCE to relax. hopefully this will change. their office is only 16 miles away, so that's only like a 1 hour drive in LA traffic. it'll be nice coming home and not having to work. i'm sure my chinchilla will miss me during the day, but he'll manage. |

been a while
so... i forgot i had this thing. shaun reminded me. lots been going on. i think i found an apartment. its a little expensive ($925/mth) but it's about 50 feet from the beach. it's in Redondo Beach. i'm going to mention I have a chinchilla tomorrow and see what they say. they may say "absolutely not". i hope not. my chinchilla goes where i go. if anybody knows what dpi cafepress prints their stuff at, please let me know. |

i went looking at apartments today. i'm a little disappointed. the place i really liked wasn't what it seemed in the photo. the photo wasnt the nice apartment with a good view shown in the photo, but was the one in the middle of the building. the other places i looked at just weren't that great. i'm signed up for a rental service though, so i get daily listings of new apartments for rent. i'll find something sooner or later. |

back from the desert
this was my first time ever being in the desert. i like it. made for some great photos too. 5 rolls of photos actually. i get them back on monday at 4:00. can't wait. have you ever been in the mood where you dont feel like writing complete sentences or using apostrophes? i just ate a blueberry cobler and i'm in that mood... |

I don't think I'm cold blooded... maybe just cold :) Well, I have some free time so I figured I'd write in this thing. The girl who's supposed to go with us didn't show up when she was supposed to, so we called and find out shes at the doctor's office. She apparently forgot about her appointment and forgot to tell us she was going to be late. We're a little bummed because my mom has an appointment in Palm Springs at 3:00pm and she can't be late. Oh, the girl who's supposed to go with us has a coupon for a free weekend at the hotel we're staying at. So my mom sends me off to pick up her dry cleaning because shes busy packing and I get back and find out the girl called. She left her doctor's appointment and is heading over to our house. I'm pretty happy about that. I'm brining 5 rolls of film with me. All I really want are some pictures of Joshua Trees. I really like those things. I love taking pictures of palm type trees or plants, as you can see from my photos. If you haven't seen any of my photos... www.pixeldigital.com/photography/ . I haven't been doing it for very long so there are tons of photos that should have been there but aren't, mainly because I didn't know how to get the correct lighting or how long to keep the shutter open for night shots. It's always disappointing to find that out when you get your film developed. Hrm. We're still waiting for the girl. I hope she shows up so I can get to Palm Springs before dark. I want to take some nice photos and my night photography never turns out how I want. (pardon my rambling. i'm all packed and have nothing to do until this girl gets here) I could go on forever so I'll just stop now. Oh I think I'm going to be moving to Manhattan Beach really soon. I'm going to be looking at places in a couple weeks. I have a bunch of my mom's friends keeping their eyes open. Most of them were drunk when I told them to, but maybe they'll remember. i'm still new to this journal thing so i haven't been remembering to update it. i'll start doing it soon though, i promise :) i'm heading out to palm springs in about 45 minutes for the weekend. i've never been there but i heard it gets to be 120 in the summer and 80 in the winter... sounds like the perfect place for me! |
